Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive in Arusha and transfer to your chosen accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may have some free time to explore the city or relax at the lodge.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (about a 2-3-hour drive). Arrive in time for lunch at your chosen lodge. Afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Full day exploring Tarangire National Park. Morning and afternoon game drives with a break for lunch at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire.

Day 4: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (about a 4-hour drive). Visit the Maasai Boma en route. Arrive in time for lunch at your chosen lodge. Afternoon at leisure or optional activities. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Picnic lunch in the crater. Afternoon return to the lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro.

Day 6: Ngorongoro to Serengeti

After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park (about a 3-4-hour drive). Game drive en route to your chosen lodge. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 7-9: Serengeti National Park

Full days exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Optional hot air balloon safari on one of the days (if desired). Relax at the lodge during the hottest part of the day.
Enjoy a morning game drive on the last day before heading back to the lodge for lunch. Dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 10: Departure

Depending on your departure time, you may have the opportunity for a final game drive in the Serengeti.
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha (about a 7-hour drive). Depart from Arusha or continue with your onward travel plans.
